BuyRiteDigital ripoff scum false advertising Brooklyn New York
I was searching for a digital camera and came across BuyRiteDigital. They had the best prices so I placed an order with them for an Olympus C-4000 digital camera which was listed in bold letting as IN STOCK.
I received a call about a week later stating that the credit card I entered was expired. It turns out that I just had a slip of the finger and entered the wrong number. I was asked about other products to purchase and I declined them at that time. I asked when my camera would be shipped out and I was told that it would be shipped the next day (Tuesday) and I would have it within 4-5 business days.
A couple days later I received a phone call from them stating that the camera was OUT OF STOCK and I could have a re-furbished one at a lesser cost. I was not available to take the phone call so I was left a message to contact them. I then contacted them through e-mail several times (could not get through by phone) and NEVER got a response back as to when my camera would be sent. I would not accept a re-furbished one because I was told through their website and through a live person that the brand new camera would be sent to me.
I have never dealt with a company before that didn't even try to please their customers. I am outraged at the way I've been treated and I advise everyone NOT to trust these people. Just for the record, my credit card has not been charged yet that I'm aware of but regardless, this is an awful company and their horrible customer service and false advertising should be exposed for all to see what scum they are.
