Camco ripoff company! Tried to tell me they had a signed and notarized form from me! abused & mistreated dirty ripoff dogs Rockford Illinois
I rec'd a call informing me that they "CAMCO" had aquired a cc debt from 1990 and they were prepared to settle. They started out at over 7,000 and with in 10 minutes were down to 1438.00. I told them I had never heard of them and went immediately to the internet and found some very helpful web sites. Sent them a CRRR letter to C&D and the SOL had expired. I was very upset for about 2 weeks worrying all the time at what they might be able to do.
This is a very cruel company to cause such stress to people. I sent in all my complaints to the FTC, Attorney Generals etc.. Now I want them to burn, burn, burn. They even told me my SEC of State was going to search my employment records and my assets! They also said they had a signed and notarized statement from me refusing to pay! FORGERY. This company needs to be taken down, I wish I knew more on what to do to help bring them down.
