Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

March 2013 Russ Hall saleman and Jeff the manager at Canyon State Auto Brokers in Tempe, AZ sold me a 2001 Dodge 2500 Truck with a bypassed heatercore, undisclosed fire damage claim history with Gieco, and then 2 months after I bought the truck the CarFax they provided was udpated with a "Theft Recovery", Jeff and Russ Hall both told me the vehicle had a clear CarFax and no theft history would remain on the CarFax, they outright lied to me.

Next business day after the sale I noticed the Truck had no heater or defrost funcitons on a rare cold morning March of 2013, I called salesman Russ the very next business day after I bought the truck to complain about this, he said awhh no problem will repair it with the cruisecontrol probably just a fuse.  Aftrer 3 months of hassle with Russ and manager Jeff of Canyon Statue Auto Brokers, the heater core remains bypassed unrepaired as they refuse to repair and the vehicle now has a stigamtized history of Theft Recovery affecting value of vehicle. I have filed as of June 2013 complaints with the BBB in AZ, Arizona State Attorney Genearls office and Federal Trade Commission, pending outcome of these complaints.

Russ salesman and Jeff told me thier vehicles pass a 20 point inspection before hitting thier lot, laughable these guys committed outright fraud in my case sold me a turck for 14500 with bypassed heater core , undisclosed fire damage and then CarFax updates with Theft Recovery approx 2 months after I purchsed the truck from Canyon State Auto Brokers Tempe AZ.  Beware doing business with this company, check the BBB consumer reviews dont be fooled by the A+ rating through BBB.  Also see the Cummins forums for similar hisotry with these guys and also check the Maricopa County AZ Civil Case history where another guy on the Cummins forum had to sue Canyon State after experiencing simlar issuew with Canyon State and manager Jeff being unresponsive to correcting undicsclosed issues.

I currently after 3 months of hassles with these guys now have complaints working with BBB, Arizona Attorney Generals office and Federal Trade Commission as of June 4 2013 and am in process of retaining an attorney to sue them if I cannot get resolved. Buyers Beware!

Update: Canyon State Auto's Russ and Jeff fully resolved and worked with me regarding CarFax reporting and issues, I am 100% satisified now and would recommend them to family and or friends.  They have the ability to locate some hard to find 4x4's here in the southwest and have a great selection of inventory.  Thanks! Mark, Phoenix, AZ
