Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

Complete piece of garbage. I don't care if he does good work or not. He's a dishonest liar. There is one positive review on here. It is fake.

 It's almost like you had someone else write that lasy reply. Most likely the case, since most of your emails to me are barely intelligible.

 Come on Skip, you do this to everyone. "40 years in the business...” I really don’t know how. You need to wake up and look at the real picture. All these people giving you bad reviews, it’s not them. It’s you! You threaten people with lawyers, court, lawsuits to get your way. You throw out profanity when someone calls you out on something. I know of one instant that you threatening a lawsuit, the consumer had their lawyer call you and you’ve been silent since. You don’t know the law. You’re on the verge of harassment with many people. I can attest to the consumers complaint here. Do a simple google search, he’s not the only one. Me too have had a run in with you and after talking to a few other companies, the police, even a lawyer who knew exactly who you were, I quickly realized you are the problem. I’m sorry for whatever happened to you, but man get it together!

 I have all the emails where he promised to pay and never did. I also have all the emails between him and a debt collector full of vulgarity and lines like 'i know the law. No contract, no pay'. This guy is a ******* tool to the extreme.

#5REBUTTAL Owner of company

Thu, May 26, 2016

At times, YES - my company uses specialized SUB-CONTRACTORS. These are either individuals who were directly employed by my company who had an excellent trade installation history with me and decided they needed to be self-employed, so we make sure they are properly licensed and insured and then "hire them back" on occasion, or very SELECT individuals/companies that have proven time and time again through a very rigorous and professional process conducted by myself which includes an application, interview, role play that leads to simple projects thoroughly supervised, photographed and examined at every stage for compliance to our standards before larger more complex projects are to be done. When the project is inspected and accepted by ME as completed to MY specifications, cleaned thoroughly and evacuated of all equipment and personnel... our sub contractors are paid.

I believe in networking with the roofing trades best to offer in order to deliver the best products and services a consumer expects to pay for.

It really is that simple.

Those who know me recognize my 34 years of professional complete HANDS-ON participation and realize that my knowledge and expertise within the residential-commercial-industrial and commercial roofing world is second to NONE. Furthermore, they know that I have ZERO tolerance for drinking, drugging or simply ignorant behavior... and/or POOR workmanship. I'm known as NO "bs" type of guy and business owner... play games with me or my companies reputation and you can absolutely assure yourself as sub-contractor that you will NOT BE PAID until your rectify your situation.

That is the politically correct, sanitized response to those who understand the meaning and power of words and their intent to communicate.

NOW to the annonymous imbecile that wrote this complaint and bears NO shame or guilt for their words and/or actions;

YOUR POST SPEAKS VOLUMES OF IGNORANCE. To provide a line item defensive response would only serve to validate the foolishness and I AM NOT GOING TO BE EXTORTED into pleading or paying to defend such ignorance.

YES... some sub-contractors have NOT been paid for various legimate reasons such as; bad behavior, poor workmanship, cancelled insurance, stealing, whatever... it's happended approximately three (3) times in thirty years over the course of thousabds of products small to huge. This I believe is a testament to our project management policies and oversight.

Take ME to court... I'll bring the documents and photographs to prove you should NEVER be paid. I'll stand by the mailbox.
