Received wrong item from CarID after ordering from them on ebay at carid_2000. They offered a refund, but informed me they would be taking a restocking fee and not refunding my shipping on this very large package, while requiring me to pay the shipping back also. I returned the package reluctantly, given that the issue was completely their fault...One month later, still haven't received my refund, I paid through paypal so I would know when they refund me. The package was deliverd to them 3 weeks ago. Calling, e-mailing, and filing claims in ebay and paypal=nothing.

I had the same problem with carid.com It has been 23 business days since the item has been returned and yet I still wait for my return. Paid for shipping to return the paying for shipping to get the item back also the stuck me with a restocking fee even though they sent me the wrong part. I have spoke with a human named Ivan and his boss Micheal a couple of weeks ago and still nothing. Left numerous message at 6096424635 nothing. What a rip off!

This complaint is definitely a hoax and should be removed. Here is the proof:

- We do not charge restocking fees on eBay orders. Please take a look at our return policy (http://stores.ebay.com/CARiD-Shop/returns.html)

- If we have shipped a wrong product, our customer would never be asked to pay for shipping back. Return Policy: "If the return of an item was caused by an error on our or a manufacturers part, shipping fees do not apply".

- We refund our customers within 5-7 days after receipt of an item

- We are a reputable company with a trained customer service department that resolves all customer issues & complaints. M-F 9:00am to 8:00pm

- If the customer filed a PayPal claim, he would get his/her money back through PayPal dispute within a week.

Please provide us with your NAME and ORDER NUMBER as proof that this complaint is real and feel free to contact me personally @ 800-505-3274 Ext 89
