Cats Automotive Transmission Service holding car for a year without repairing it, but paid in full for the repair Chicago Illinois
Took my car in for repair of the transmission 7/27/08, picked the car up approximately in late Dec/Jan because of the telling of me that they had to order parts for the car. I drove the car for a week and the car stoped pulling. (Car never repaired) Took the car back and they still have my car. I have been calling and talking with the repair person (Willie) and he keeps telling me it's going to be a week before it done. It's been 4 months and I have to call them every time. I Called to speak to the owner of the shop 4/30/09 and explained to him that they have been repairing my car for almost a year and I want my car. He shouted at me and said either wait until they repair the car or do what I have to to get the car repaired. I've talked to numerous attorneys and they refuse to help me. I've filed a cilvil suit and I'm going to have to represent myself, have no other option.
