Celebrity White teeth unauthorized credit card debit Internet
Watch out for "Celebrity White Teeth", the internet message seems to be from a woman who swears by a discovered technique of whitening your teeth if you try two different types of brush on whiteners. It even gives you the links to them that you can try for only .99cents.
The catch is that then Celebrity White Teeth will debit your credit card for close to $60 per month. When you go to the website it reads:
By placing your order on http://www.celebwhiteteethshop.com/, you agreed to the Terms & Conditions, which explain that you must cancel within 14 days of today to avoid the one-time membership fee of $169.95 and enrollment in monthly delivery program. Delivery program ships fresh supply and charges $12.95 monthly. All charges will be charged to same card provided during your order placement.
No where in the add does it provide this information. My credit card company questioned the charge and called to alert me. When I tried to call the company the first time I was placed on hold for 45 minutes and given the "all our agents are busy" circular message and finally hung up in disgust.
The next week when I went online and searched out the customer "no"support number
1-877-262-4128 and called I got someone who pretended to want to help me but just could not find my account, either by my name, zip code or email address (Funny they had no problem charging my card, but just couldn't find my records to cancel).
This is a SCAM and one of those "Hard to Cancel" programs. I should have known better...now hopefully you will.
