On 9/8/2010 we processed the order for Angelo's Garage after being told it was for a customers build. Later down the road it was revealed it was for his own personal S2000. Even later it was revealed the S2000 was either wrecked or a salvage title. As far as the damage, the customer knew this; as we told him via phone call and by sending pictures and ideas for paint schemes to cover the blemish. Angelo decided to go ahead with the purchase. The shop said the kit would fit fine, but after finding out what it would cost to get the body kit installed (molded to the car properly) Angelo decided to back out and requested to return the kit. We offered to exchange the body kit and come up with other solutions; none of which we're considered "Acceptable" by the customer. We urged him not to return it, NOT because we didn't want to refund him, but because freight shipping the body kit would be very expensive, and we charge a 25% restocking/ cancellation fee. He would've lost a lot of money just because of "change of heart" and we didn't want to see that happen. We wanted to see the project get finished, but again, installation cost (which we can not control) was too expensive.
