On 11/25/2004, I booked a return flight with cheapclouds.com from Malaga/Spain to Hong Kong. After submitting my credit card information, I was informed that my CC could not be authorised (error 302). One of their associates would come back to resolve the problem. Two hours later I received an e-mail from
[email protected] who suggested that I made a Western Union payment to one of their managers, martin mitchev, who happened to be in Europe, NIMEA plaza, Madrid blvd., Sofia, Bulgaria. Stupid as I was, I made the payment, the money was paid out, and all attempts to get through to cheapclouds have been in vain. They cheated me out of 559.00 Euros, and I certainly will try to get the money back. I suspect that cheapclouds is somehow connected to the Bulgarian mafia, as the only associate I ever got on their phone, a guy who called himself Vidin, had a very harsh Bulgarian accent.
