Chrysler Financial ripoff, uncooperative, lack of customer service, unfriendly, unprofessional Covington Louisiana
We filed for bankruptcy protection in October 2000, our lawyer contacted Chrysler Financial to inform them that we wanted to re-affirm our loan with them. We didn't hear otherwise to "ASSUMED" that everything was on track. In September of 2002 we were contacted by Chrysler Financial to inform us that we had missed a payment and the van would be repossed. I asked them what the problem was, I was informed by a very rude customer service representative that our account was written off as a bad debt. I inquired about the re-affirmation to which I was told, they had nothing in our file.
I was shocked that nearly 2 years later this was now a problem. I asked what needed to be done to correct the problem. I was told to fax in the paperwork showing the re-affirmation. I did as requested, Chrysler Financial representative confirmed receipt of the fax and assured me that it would be filed.
In March 2003, we decided to begin the application for the purchase of a home. Only to find out that once again we had a problem with Chrysler Financial. They have not updated our credit file since October 2000. We once again contacted to find out that they are saying that they never received the re-affirmation paperwork and there is nothing we can do. They have frozen our account, won't update, or do anything to help us with this situation. I am so frustrated with this company, that I could understand someone going "POSTAL" to get the problem resolved.
I have loved my Chrysler products as did my father and grandfather. But this will be the last Chrysler product I ever buy. I will be sure to inform all of my friends and family that Chrysler does not stand up to their company mission statement and their company is a rip-off.
