CIC Credit Monitor ripoff, outrageous and illegal act of theft. Theft Nationwide Internet
My credit card was used fraudulently by someone who purchased CIC service in 2001 for $79.95. I do not know the person who used my card. I informed CIC of the fraud and the told me to obtin a police report and fix it to them.
After 3 years, a dozen faxes of police reports and 2 additional charges of $79.95 (despite the fact that the account was known to be fraudulent.) CIC told me they would refund me 23 cents per day for the last 16 days. and they would not refund any part of the first 2 years charges. They said "take it or leave it" or "take it up with your credit card company".
$239.85 charged fraudulently and knowingly by CIC and they wanted to refund me $3.68 An outrageous and illegal act of theft if ever I saw one.
