I requested a credit report from CIC, a 3 in 1 report at $39.95, of course I was charged $79.90 on my credit card, they straightened the overcharge up but, once I got the report I found it to be useless. The money rip-off is just the beginning, then the real rip-off begins. In order to communicate with credit reporting agencies you have to purchase reports from each agency (even after paying for CIC's report). Without a file number from each reporting agency you can't access their systems or talk to a representative. Each line item on your report has an account number these numbers are encrypted on CIC's report, there are no contact telephone numbers or addresses for any of the account holders on your reports. After getting reports from the agencies I found CIC's report incomplete and far short of the real reports. Everyone would be much better to go to each agency for the real thing, then your through and you have the information straight from the horses mouth. Go to Equifax.com, Experian.com and TransUnion.com and get your report, $9.00 each maybe plus tax and a little more if you want your credit score, pay less, get the real thing and save yourself a lot of money and headache. I don't know how these people get away with this scam but it is a real good one, and I'm sure the Attorney General from whatever state they are from is going to enjoy getting hold of them. ConsumerInfo.com is not worth the investment of money or time. THEY ARE A RIP-OFF.
