I have spent over $5000 at Circuit City in the past ten years. In Aug. 1999 I spent over $3000 for a HP computer system plus extras.

On 2/13/08 I bought a new printer, tax software, and the always needed cable.

On 2/19/08 I went back for help and to buy new software to replace my "Windows 98"because the printer wouldn't work. I waited at the service desk for 15 minites

while everyone ignored me. Finally during the discussion with a person I asked his name, in case I called back later. Nick he said and I said your last name is? We don't give that out he said and I said " are you afraid I'll come to your house and break your legs or shoot you. A sickly looking, pale, hump backed, round shouldered, hollow chested, management individual verbally attacked me. I asked to speak to the store manager, he is not here the creep said, I left my name and number but have received no call. I have promised myself to never darken CC door again, I keep my promises.

I would love to know when your comment would have ever been appropriate given the circumstances. I know that it can be frustrating not to get the service you think you deserve, but uttering those comments was blatantly "out-of-line." The reality is, the manager was right in refusing service, especially after you just threatened one of his employees. Would give time to someone who just threatened to shoot one of your employees? I highly doubt it. On a side note, any type of sympathy that you were trying for was completely dimished by the child-like insults that you felt were appropriate. When filing an effective complaint, assertive civilities is the best way to get an appropriate response.

One of my favorite things to hear about is "how much money" you have spent at the store, and the reason being is I automatically know that I will try my hardest not to help you now because you are going to try and use how much you spent at the store as leverage to get what you want. As for what you said to "nick" I think that WAS TOTALLY UNCALLED FOR, it is Circuit city policy not to give out your last name because weve had instances where they have been stalked. So in terms of the managment that verbally attacked you, I think he was totally within his rights to do that in response to what you said.

well i must disagree entirely with your comment, not only does it sound completely untrue, but very non-constructive otherwise. whats the use of having someones full name anyways that is absolutely none of your business, i'm sure im not the only one who feels this way ...

"Are you afraid I'll come to your house and break your legs or shoot you?" Why would you say that? I'm afraid, I wouldn't give my information out, either. You never explained how he verbally attacked you, but only that you were being a jerk.
