Circuit City ripoff dishonest fradulant info on specifcations,of their computer's upgradeableness flaked me off when I brought it to their attention! Internet
I did alot of research on the new computer that I was going to buy. Circuitcity.com does all the advertiseing for all circuit city stores.
I found the computer that I wanted, and bought it in Tigard oregon, acording to the specification, on their web site and the sales person, my computer is upgradable to 2GB on the RAM.
I went to HP'S web site to buy the RAM and was informed that the information that circuit city had given me was wrong, its only upgradable to 1GB. I contacted circuitcity.com and was just blown off! I then contacted the Tigard, Oregon where I purchased the computer.
I talked with a manager, while I was on the phone with him he went to HP's web site, to check on a computer that they might be able to swap out for mine...that was a little more upgradable.
And He found that the specs, they had for that computer were not right either. So then He started talking like I dident need that much RAM any ways. that make me mad! I would like to know what Im buying, before I buy it.
If that wasent enough, He then said he could swap it out for a cheaper computer. But if I wanted a computer that was upgradable to 2GB He would wave the restocking fee, but I would need to bring alot more money with me! thats bunk because this one cost almost over $900.00 for just the tower alone.
Ciruit City is dishonest! and all those people that bought the HP Pavilion a643n and are all jazzed about being able to upgrad to 2GBs, will soon have thier bubble bursted too! Due to Circuit City's dishonest way of doing business
