Circuit City Warranty Scam How they ripped me off. . . Port Charlotte Florida
ok, so i got a toshiba laptop for $799.99 and got the accidental warranty for it for like, $250.00. Well, it did get damaged beyond repair, so per the plans agreement, they will offer me a comparable laptop, well, they offered me a crappy referb one, but i declined so they said, "Ok, we will send you a giftcard for the total of the laptop." me-"Ok, that sounds good, so I'll get a $799.99 giftcard?" CC agent-"Oh, no you will get $595.00 on a gift card." me-". . . . . *blank stare* uhhhh, my laptop was worth $800 6 months ago." CC agent-"well, thats its worth."
so after talking with a pain in the a** supervisor, who sounded like he still lived in his moms basement and only crept out to work at this dead-end circuit city job, i finally said, "Just give me the d**n giftcard!!"
Ok, well, i was loaning it out to people i know to get stuff, well, my sister went to get a $50 TV mount, and uhhhh, "oh, our giftcard reader is broken, we cant accept it."
me- "B!7ch @$$ s**+T!!!" so whatever, im still stuck with 300$ on the card.
