Clearwire Taking money for undelivered service - tells you they will give you a credit and instead charges more bellvue, Washington
Was with Clearwire for over two years - Home and on the Go - On the Go suddenly stopped working - made inquiry with local store who said it had been updated in software (with not notice I might ad) and there was no resolution - so finally got around to calling a rep - you can only call to cancel cannot request in writing which I think is bizarre and likely a tactic they use to avoid committing to anything - I was told on the phone that they could see that my usb service on the go had not been used for quite some time - apologized for the inconvenience but could only offer a one month credit for all service which would be remitted immediately - never got it - so when I was charged again I disputed the charge - they made the new charge for reduced services (home modem only) then the next month charged the full amount again with a service fee - so now I had the what was supposed to be credit charged to me and a service fee - did it again a second month - so what was supposed to be a $64 credit they have now tried to charge back to me for $111 ! The original amount plus 2 service fees
This company is a total ripoff ! Thieves - they will steal from you so beware - and also beware of their counterparts - Netzero - Freeonline etc., be sure to look up who the internet provider is affiliated with since they wholesale to other companies and you will have the same problem - also check reviews as the are predominately negative for Clear as well as their counterparts
