Computer Outlet in Beaufort S.C. has sold computers with very little techniqual support. Therefore, when buying a computer from this small computer company you will find when bring your problems with your system back to them in order to fix under warranty, they will not have the knowledge nor the support to fix your problems and blam it on high technoligy and bad or old software. Problems being with faulity parts and clashing components.
Advise, if you deside to purchase system from Bruce or Charlene Richards owners of Computer Outlet, varify with another company or have enough knowledge to check systems parts to varify that they are "new" and in "good" working condition. Have sold bad pieces of RAM. Also, very imporant get all warranty information in writing.
This company has no intensions of living up to what is expected from the consumer. They will after a point not try to work with the consumer. Beware!!
If you have had bad dealings with the company do try and contact others that have had this unfortunate experience by e-mailing [email protected]. Good luck.

Anonymous reports are pretty much to be considered being filed by liars and cowards. I have done business with Computer Outlet for more than 15 years and consider them to be the only knowledgeable and reputable company of their kind in town. Always fair, always willing to listen. New products or parts are usually considerably less than even such companies as Best Buy. I have used their computers for years and they are great!
It should be noted that the email address provided in the only complaint against them is owned by a rival company. Speaking of which, my wife took our computer to that other company by mistake and was told it needed a motherboard and would cost about $400.00. I took it to Bruce and Charlene at Computer Outlet. They replaced the cmos battery for $4.50. The computer worked fine until we upgraded a few years later.
I did not mention the other company by name, if you have been there you probably already know.
