Conseco Finance rip-off no end from this haunted house and scream machine Baltimore Maryland
I am a single mother w/two small children. I have had to get two and three jobs to pay the bills. At times I have enough to pay a little extra on this nightmare. I fill out the payment coupon w/the additional pricipal-I've learned that it doesn't work w/o doing so.
For about three of four months that worked, but they got tired of messing w/me, and no longer accept additional payments. They are now marked down as interest payments.
Can they really do that?

It was almost one year after I signed my contract with Conseco that I found out they can or try to do anything! The dealer that did my closing, Vivian's Mobile Homes, in Cornelia, Ga. had no knowledge of the inflated interest rates or the way they charged a rate of $17.00 per day late charge of over 30 days between payments. Don't give them any banking info on you, or the will try to get money out of your account without your permission like they did me. Hang in there cause their on the way out with bancruptry!!!! Ha HA for them! We just all might come out to the good. Another dissatified CONECO cuss-tomer
