I was sent a letter in a plain envelope. I opened it and inside was a award claim final notification letter. It was from the North American Sweepstakes Lottery held on Nov. 30th of this year.

It had my ticket with serial numbers and the winning lottery numbers of which it said I had. It said the sweepstakes was played without my knowledge or consent but participants were selected through a random computerized ballot system drawn from over 5,000,000 names of credit card holders, online shoppers, email address owners and website registrants as part of our donor's citizen empowerment program.

Then after my claim number, it said my prize award money has been forwarded to our clearing/disbursement institution to release my funds by certified check or money order or wire transfer to my bank account which I have to provide.

I was sent a check in the amount of $3,555 US Dollars which was supposedly deducted from my winnings. I will be using this money they said to pay for the applicable under-writer charges (taxes) on my winning.

Please don't use this check until you call your claim agent who was Leslie Johnson @ 1-902-620-4698 ext. 81 for further clarification and instructions on claiming my winnings.

If they do not hear from me in 14 days they will consider the mail lost or stolen and the check will be cancelled.

I am "hereby warned" not to disclose my winning information with a third party until after pay-off is concluded to avoid double claim. It was signed by a Carl Mullins who is supposedly the Promotion Manager.
