Wow, it really shows that Consumer Financial Advisory Board is a rip off because they need to read this web site to see who is complaining about them. And, they must hire uneducated, con artists with bad grammar. A little spell check and some elementary education would do you well. After doing my research on this so-called company and discussing with Bank of America about CFAB's unethical practices, I have this company's number! My mother is lucky to have someone like me to help her in her time of need. CFAB should be the ones ashamed of themselves. Don't promise that you can lower interest rates and then can't deliver. They can't deliver because they don't have any relationship with any bank. Don't even lecture me on my helpfulness to my mother when your company is taking advantage of elderly people.

This is false info. That company does call the credit card companies w/the client. So the customer knows it happened and when, its also noted in this companies policies. Obviously the daughter wasn't on the line when the call took place. This company does attempt to lower interet rates but can't provide miracles its all about ones history. If the credit card company lowered your rate then you wouldn't of enrolled in the program. Credit card companies aren't just going to lower everyones rates, then they would go bankrupt, thats why you have to ask. The lender isn't going to automatically do it. Its all about how much money you save not how much your interest rate was lowered. This company obviously doesn't charge an individual unless the person gives permission to bill ones credit card account. If a person can't make their own financial decisions, one doesn't need a credit card or they need to put a certain dollar amount block on the account. Also all of these complaints are only one sided. Thats it! Also this company has a great refund policy, what companies actually offer a refund policy? I know what goes on at this company and its secured and they do call the credit card companies with the customer on the line. So your mother would know that. You can't just sign up with a company and expect a refund because your loved one did something you didn't approve. Thats something you would have to talk to your loved one about. Its called there own decisions. Like I said if you don't like what your loved one has done then you need to take her charge cards away. Its very simple. This company does what they say they will do in a timely manner and will show you how much money you can save and if not you may get a refund as promised. It may not benefit a person who has all low balance transfer offers.
