Consumer First ripoff Tampa Florida
This company sent a letter that seemed to be legit... however, it is not. They said that I was already approved for $5000 platinum card all I had to do was send in my $45. So I wrote a check and waited for my card. Nothing ever showed up, I then called information looking for a number.
They gave me a number for a debt consolidator in Michigan. The when the lady answered I asked her to tell me what kind of company she was from, she said "We are a debt consolidator, if you are looking for the credit card company we are not them." I then asked her if she gets many calls for the credit card company and she said ALL THE TIME!
So let this be a warning to all of you out there. Don't fall for this scam like I did!
