Dear Sirs:

My 1997 Chevy Venture is still sitting in Gallipolis Ohio almost 400 miles away because they failed to properly handle the warranty. It has been paid off the $100.00 deductable turned into more than that because of modifications on the engine The Chevy dealership was told to get. Gene Johnson Chevrolet went where they were told to and now they are di**ing around with paying off the repairs and the storage due to it being up there since January of 2004. I am now disabled temporarily and they don't want to budge. The company is worth over $100,000,000.00 and can't pay a $6000.00 bill.

My plan is to contact 20/20 and 60 minutes plus I have already notified the State Attornies General in North Carolina. I contacted a Local TV Station and will air an interview as soon as they contact me. I am also contacting GM Ford Chrysler & Honda to name a few and tell them it is strongly recommended not to accept work from customers with this warranty.

I will also stop them from writing warranties in North Carolina.

Date Vehicle Broke Down

I do not believe any of my statements were as you describe "smart comments" however if you feel they were my apology. You still do not provide enough information for impartial person to determine if you have a valid complaint. Date purchased VSC? Mileage at time of purchase?*** Mileage at time of breakdown?*** What is the failure? What cause the failure?*** What were you doing when the vehicle failed?*** Date reported the failure to CW? Date you took your vehicle to Chevy store? Date your vehicle was inspected? Findings for the inspection? This is the same information an arbitrator/court would request.

Date Vehicle Broke Down

#3Author of original report

To Whom It May Concern: My 1997 Chevy Venture lost an engine on 12 Midnight outside Gallipolis Ohio decmber 8th. It had 82,000 miles on it and was fully covered by Continental Warranty. I have before me sufficient facts to make them pay up or be out of business. And yes if it takes that I will put them out of business and everyone will lose. What turned out to be $100.00 Deductable turned out to be a few Thousand Dollar headache. Pay to have the engine torn down by a reputable Chevy Dealer at my expense. The adjuster taking his sweet time to get there. Giving Gene Johnson Chevrolet grief about the certification of their mechanics ETC. And yes the vehicle was reported when it broke down to authorize towing to the closet authorized garage and have the work down. It broke down on the 8th of December and it got towed on the same day. P.S. Just for the reference and your smart comments I am not a trained Monkey. I have a much higher intelligence and I just love when a company doesn't hold-up their end of the bargain. Maybe I should have an independent Insurance Underwriter and a Lawyer investigate their practices and rewrite the warranty. Easy Care Warranties don't opperate like this. If it sounds to good it probably isn't. "READ THE FINE PRINT ON YOUR WARRANTY." and then tell me I don't know what I am talking about. They are even argueing with the Dealership as to where the engine came from and they got it where they were told. Call Misty Jackson-Kurilla and see her view. I know it will be different. But under the right to Privacy Act of 1970 she can't divulge that conversation or conversations. If You have Continental Warranty I am sorry. this is only the tip of the iceburg. Continental Warranty ripoff

#4Consumer Suggestion

Mon, November 08, 2004

Would you provide more information about your breakdown it is very hard to understand what your complaint is. Date purchased VSC? Mileage at time of purchase? Mileage at time of breakdown? What is the failure? What cause the failure? Date reported the failure to CW? Date you took your vehicle to Chevy store? Date your vehicle was inspected? Findings for the inspection? Until you provide valid information/proof Continental Warranty is ripping you or anyone off it would be unfair to all the other consumers who purchased their product for you to launch a vendetta without providing any factual information.

I am on a mission to stop them from writing warranties in all 49 states that they operate in. Tommorow because I am on temporary disability I have nothing better to do than to contact the appropriate Attoney Generals Nationwide. I will tell them they are operating fraudulantly and deceving the public. I will also go after Roland Fink & MS. Misty Jackson-Kurilla employees of continetal Warranty. Oh by the way Roland Fink is the Executive Vice President of Continental Warranty. His E-Mail is [email protected].
