Coral Resorts Reba Management Very Dishonest Company Hilton Head Island, South Carolina
We bought a timeshare from Coral Resorts for Island Links in May 2008. We caught them in many lies up front and confronted them and they added extra RCI points and a FREE developer week with no charge for use within 2 years. This convinced us to continue on and buy. Bad mistake.
We have found many lies since then. Our timeshare is bi-ennial. They said our maintenance fee would be about $500 every 2 years. We now owe a bill for 2008 and 2010 fees for $1,800. They have been very hard to deal with. I have contacted them many times. I thought I had found one employee willing to help and now she will not return my calls or emails.
I have given them many chances to honor their word with no result. I am going to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, the South Carolina Attorney General, the South Carolina Dept. of Consumer Affairs, and am going to contact the Hilton Head Chamber of Commerce and possibly the state and federal congressmen. Someone posted a comment about filing a class action lawsuit. I would definitely be interested in being involved in that.
Also, beware of timeshare resale companies. I have already gave $700 to Vacation Property Marketing in Orlando, FL for a guaranteed sale which has never happened. This was in March of 2009. I have recently been dealing with another company who gave me an offer but they needed about $600 to do the deal. I don't think they are legit either. Don't buy into any of these timeshare resale lies.

I have been dealing with Coral Resorts the past couple of days concerning my time share. The have handled all of my issues to my satisfaction and I am pleased with the resolution. I was very pleased of how I was treated during this process. They were very nice, honest and professional. I am in the process of recinding my complaints with all the agencies I stated in my last post. Coral Resorts has redeemed their image with me. I praise them for being willing to work with me in such a manner.
