COTTMAN TRANSMISSIONCOTTMAN TRANSMISSION ,CARR TRANSMISSIONS, LLC COTTMAN WORKER STOLE MY LICENSE PLATE, EVIDENCE: LEFT PLATE HOLDER LOCKED IN BACK SEAT!!! Flint Michigan
I picked up my 2003 Durango from Cottman Transmission in Flint, MI today 4/2/2009 after a rear seal repair. My boyfriend travelled behind me in our other vehicle. He called to tell me I had no plate on the drive out of the shop! I immediately called them and employee MARK told me it has happened before that plates were stolen, and then tried to blame me because I waited 48hrs to pick it up. Even though I called twice to let them know I could get it on today THURS 4/2/2009 and they were fine with that.
Upon later inspection, I discovered that my license plate holder was in my backseat, but no plate!! This is direct evidence that someone at the shop stole my plate. They must be some brainless criminals because my Durango was LOCKED all doors when I went to pick it up. I know this because they first mistakenly told me my key was in the visor, i tried all doors and all were locked tight. I went back in and RICK shadily produced my keys!
ALSO, my vehicle was full of MUD caked all over the wheel wells when i picked it up-MUD BOGGING IN THE CUSTOMER'S CAR ANYONE?
Now Im just waiting for my vehicle to fail, because how can their work be good if they are thieves?!!
STAY AWAY, FAR AWAY FROM THIS TRANSMISSION SHOP, THE CHARMING COUNTRY GENTLEMAN AT THE DESK IS ALL PART OF THEIR SCAM!!
