Countrywide Where's the help Battleground washington
Well Country wide is in some serious need of help. Back in Oct 08 we sent the hardship letter and a copy of our bills and dr releases and FMLA paper work and W-2's. I called them every month and they informed me that they where working on it. On January 26th I called and found out that my paperwork had been lost a few months ago and I needed to start over again. On Feb.3rd I resent them all my information with updated pay stubs and again and agian. I then called everyday to make sure everything was still in process. They had told me my closing date was going to be March 19th for my first and April 4th for my second.
Today I found out that I am not approved because my loan didn't originate with countrywide it was bought out by Country wide there for I don't qualify for a modification. I am seriously at the breaking point with them. Our loan was redone 2 years ago and it was through an investment scam we got hocked up with our loan was immediately bought out by country wide before we even made our first payment. It was set up as an optional plan with a pre payment penalties once we got into the loan we realized we where screwed. I called country wide several times in 2007 and 2008 asking for help. They where unable to help me they said they could not wave the pre payment penalties on the account at that point we didn't know what to do but, ride out the 3 years. Well in the last year our house value has dropped over $78,000 I have added $17,503 to the principal balance of our loan I am trying to make interest only payments but, I we are going in the hole every month by over $500.00. We are borrowing money to make our interest only payment. And no one will help.
I don't understand why people are not getting the help they need. I do now understand why so many people just walk away from there homes because when you go through what I have gone through in the last 4 months it's hard to keep your chin up and keep trying.

BANK OF AMERICA!!!! Merrill Lynch was also purchased by BANK OF AMERICA!!!!! Bank of America is receiving MANY Ripoff Reports too!!! Go over and read them! Just type in BANK OF AMERICA. Bank of America is receiving 'TARP' money from the government! That's AMERICAN'S money, correct? TARP stands for 'Troubled Asset Relief Plan', right? So, WHO is really getting RELIEF??? The BANKS!!!! You have a 1st and 2nd and want to refinance. BOO h*o I have my one and only 30 year fixed rate mortgage and have never been late on a payment. Because my neighbors financed like you, my equity has gone to nothing.
