COX COMMUNICATIONS ripoff HAUNTS YEARS AFTER SERVICE HAS ENDED Phoenix Arizona
Service ended with Cox due to the fact that they would not allow a down grade of service unless the bill was paid in full. Once money was available to pay off Cox, I took the money and all of their equipment to them, and was assured at that time that the matter was closed.
A few years later Cox was called to reestablish service, only to be told that $54.00 was still owing. Considering the charge bogus, but not wanting to do without cable any longer, a few months later Cox was once again called. I spoke with Tina at ext. 4590 on March 31, 2004. Tina said that I owed them $230.60 and that she would send me a copy of their ledger, and that if I still disputed the bill, I should write a letter of dispute to Cox TV.
