Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
United Christian Financial was the front company. They sold me on a plan that would take my debt from $18000 to zero in 3 years. They assured me that if my creditors harassed me the first few months, that would go away as their proposals were sent out and accepted by the creditors.

After they took my first payment of $600+, they sent my account information to Credicure, who was supposede to take the rest of my payments and send them out to creditors after appropraite proposals were sent out and accepted. Credicure was a nightmare.

We were in contact with our creditors often, as they called me every stinking day. After 3 months of day in and day out calls, I decided to look into things myself. I talked to my creditors and found out that only 4 companies had even been sent proposals.

We couldn't get anyone at the law firm credicure was using to respond to our calls or contact us by e-mail and give us a proper response until a few weeks later. If this guy was really a lawyer I feel terrible for any client who he would represent. he couldn't tell me anything about my accounts, I did all the footwork for him. I contacted every single creditor, recorded which ones had accepted proposals, which had rejected them and why, which ones had never received proposals at all. I gave him fax numbers, addresses, and phone numbers of who to contact in each creditors depatment. I also told him what needed to be done to fix the rejected proposals.

We were not late on any payments top Credicure, but they were late on several payments to creditors and the most recent payments for last month still havent been sent out. We paid over 30 days ago.

Our creditors who were actually on the plan have now terminated them because of non payment.

To put the icing on the cake, The law firm handling this called me and asked if I wanted in on a new program that would settle my debt in a year for 40% of the total amount, plus his $1500 retainer. He sounded more like a street bum on the phone than a lawyer, and as I asked him questions about contracts, he had to put me on hold a few times to get the info. No contract to look at, no guarantees, just send him my money and he'll make it happen.

RIGHT!!!

You take me for $5000 and now I'm going to fork over another $1500 on a whim and a promise?!!

Thanks no.

United Christian Financial's website is gone.

Credicure is a RIPOFF!! Don't do it!!
