Creditcardmachinerentals.com aka Credit Card Machine Rentals Stole thousands of dollars from a charity 654 North 800 East Main St. Utah
We are a non-profit in Boston, MA and we rented credit card machines from this company for our annual fundraising event. A month after returning the devices, the company used the debit card information we had provided to charge us a late fee of $8,100.98 and claimed that we had returned the devices weeks late (despite tracking information to the contrary). After several communications with the company, their Communications Director, Jeremy Roberts, confirmed in writing that the late charge was in error and that we were owed a refund. A few weeks later and after several more calls, they did send us a check (after deducting the expense of sending it to us overnight from what they owed us), which bounced. Since then, they have not responded to our inquiries and more than two months later, we are still waiting for the refund they admitted they owe us. We have found several other similar complaints online, and even a news story about how they have done the same thing to other charities. This has had a direct impact on our programming and the assistance we have been able to offer our families so don’t make the same mistake we did.
