This company has called my business for months several times a day. No one is ever there on the phone. It interrupts my business in talking with my customers. Finally, late last night they called again. Someone was there. She stated she was calling in behalf of Broderbund because I let them know that I was interested in further info from Broderbund. This was true as I did want to know when software was reduced, either on sale or clearance. Microstar Crystal Vision claimed they were the "Star Ship" over Broderbund. (a lie) Which to me meant they owned Broderbund. I kept telling the girl I was not interested and how annoying their calls are. She hung up. Immediately I contacted Broderbund via email to verify their info. Here is what Broderbund told me. "Microstar Crystal Vision is a partner of Broderbund but they are not part of our company. (Sounds like I was sold to a 3rd party) If you would like to contact Microstar Crystal Vision you can call 1-800-777-4228 to let them know that you want to be removed from their calling lists." I called this number and it is customer service. However, they were unable to get to my call and to leave a message because they were busy. 1. If you buy from Broderbund make sure you let them know you do not want 3rd party calls or to be sold to any of their partners. 2. Make sure you do this! Otherwise you too will get these annoying calls!

Having signed up with CV, there was no mention of any charges at all for the monthly CD's which, in my opinion are poorly made, provide little useful information and the ink co doesn't even stock my type of cartridge. The company has a very unsatisfactory with the BBB. I urge anyone reading this site NOT to touch them. I have written four letters and tried their customer services line to no avail. They are a bunch of rip of merchants

I have been a customer of ShopCV for the last six months. I haven't had any trouble contacting the customer service department at all. They have been very helpful in helping me find products on the internet that are on competitors websites. Although their ink prices may be the same, if not sometimes higher, I find it more convenient to shop on-line than stand in line at the store(s). Finally, this complaint dates back to April of 2005. If that is the most recent complaint, that is pretty darn good for SHOPCV. Jessica
