You can see my full response on one of the other listings against CSI, but I can't be silent when people slam a company that was EVERYTHING they said they were. I used CSI, they delivered amazing service, and I got a job I could never get any other way. I don't understand these whiners who say things like "I could have done it all myself!" Yeah, so why didn't you? Just about every service and product we can do ourselves if we want a crummy result. I knew I could dig up all the same companies they dug up for me if I was willing to spend hours upon hours on the Internet doing it. My time is valuable, though, and I couldn't write as well as Sigmarie if I tried for months! And one more thing: I had Steve review my resume with a "free consultation." If I hadn't used their services, I learned more in that half-hour consultation than I believed possible. If that's what they gave away for free, I had to find out what I could get if I paid. It was worth every dime. They were clear they couldn't guarantee me a job, but they could improve my chances. I suppose if I hadn't nailed a great job I could have been bitter, but I've paid for seminars that taught me a lot less. The job is great, the resume fantastic, but ultimately the value came in what I learned (Valerie's coaching in negotiation my salary paid for their services almost 5x over). Job searching isn't the terror it used to be for me. I know how to do it right now. Thanks Steve, Sigmarie, Becky, and Valerie. You're an unbeatable team!

As with any other service-based company, it is nearly impossible to satisfy everyone. Career Services International has assisted thousands of successful clients and can provide testimonials upon request. Our company does not cold call anyone. PANEKMI was called because he requested a free resume review through a website or job board Career Services International partners with. All potential clients are offered free access to our website prior to registering for services, therefore, had PANEKMI done due diligence as a consumer, he would have clearly understood what he was registering for. Bait and Switch is shifting a consumer from an advertised lower priced item to a higher priced item because the advertised item is not available but the substitute is. Career Services International does not advertise its programs; therefore, we cannot bait and switch. PANEKMI approved the materials created for him. One must ask, if he thought it was garbage why did he approve it? Although we respect PANEKMI's experience as a web design professional, our website was created by another web design professional. What PANKEMI pointed out as defects were in fact, unique, proprietary system functionalities designed by our web design professional to create a user-friendly environment for our clients. When our career coach tried to explain how to use the system, PANEKMI retorted he was a professional web designer and knows how to use websites. Thousands of people have used our website without problems, including clients who themselves are web design professionals and IT programmers. PANEKMI says our company had not delivered on two key aspects of this service, but he failed to mention that he had filed for a refund through his credit card company and the funds were frozen pending resolution of his contentions. Does this gentleman really expect a company to render services with no remuneration? At the time PANEKMI wrote this, an offer to settle his dispute was on the table. Therefore, he acted in bad faith when filing this complaint for two reasons: (1) He himself froze the funds, and (2) We were in the process of attempting to settle his alleged complaints. Ultimately, PANEKMI's credit card company resolved his complaint in favor of Career Services International. We have not heard from PANKEMI since.

There are so many out there ready to take advantage of those who can least afford to lose another penny. Thank you for your notice. I talked with this woman on Friday, and she is due to call me back Monday morning. Another case of, "If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is." I am out of work, need a job, and they want to take advantage of my plight by bilking me out of $1900...thank you, thank you, thank you!
