Cumberland Police Department - CPD Rude and Mean Cumberland Maryland
I have a very good story to tell of this Police Department. they have this police officer that was so rude and mean to this person for absolutly nothing and wouldn't say they were sorry. This police department also dosen't enforce these laws, they are: anti graffiti laws, hate crimes laws, damage to a bridge, and so forth. This police department also acceptes bribes from people including drug addicts. I hope this police department gets what they deserve.

As far as being mean and rude, well, you'll have that in any dept. Taking bribes from drug addicts, that's a heck of an accusation... However, I used to work at a business located in the newer Martin's market area. I along with other employee's would go out back for our smoke breaks. On more than one occasion an officer driving a jeep cherokee was seen parked around back buying beer from the liquor store next door, Frank n Stein's (now The Boardroom), sitting in his jeep and drinking while b.s.ing with the owner of the store. We called the police dept. to report, obviously nothing ever came of it - the officer was recenty promoted.
