I've been a patient at Cuyahoga Falls General Hospital on several occasions since 1998 and found their care to be about the same as other Akron area Summa Health System Hospitals that I've received treatment. I've been a patient at Cuyahoga Falls General Hospital for Pulmonary Emboli(sp) "throwing Clots", Heart Attack and collapsed lung(3 times). Was everything perfect - no. But it wasn't perfect when I went to the other larger hospitals either. As I understand, Osteopaths (DO's) have exactly the same training as M.D.'s and then get more training on holistic type issues. There are both Osteopaths and M.D.'s at most hospitals. (I also had concerns about this several years ago & checked into it.) I am sorry that those who wrote in had bad experiences, but I believe you can have that at any hospital. As far as the accounting / billing department - every hospital I've ever been to has been a pain in the butt. Bob Akron Ohio
