Davad M. Davad - Matrimovie ripped me off, too Hired me to videotape and never paid ripoff Schaumburg Illinois
For those of you who have complained about Mr. Davad M. Davad, you are 100% correct about his ethics and services. He is the worst con-man scum bag I have ever done business with.
If I can help ANY of you prosecute this man, I will provide you with all the information I have.
His M.O. is consistent. Charm you, take your money, hope you go away, then try and turn the tables and try to blame or accuse you of something.
I am one of the nicest, easiest going guys around, and I swear if I ever saw this guy, I would punch him square in the face. This is how he ripped ME off:
I run a video production service as well, and Mr. Davad contacted me to shoot a wedding for him as a sub-contract. Again, seemed like a nice guy. Talked with him several times on the phone and he talked about doing more business together, etc. I shot the wedding, gave him the tapes (big mistake), and waited to get paid.
His first excuse was he forgot his check book and would send it first thing the next day. Weeks went by. Called him, he said he forgot or some such BB. Another week or so went by. Called again. This time he said he sent a cashiers check. Ok, good. Another week, nothing.
Another call. 'Oh, I don't know. I'll look into it and get back to you'. Another week. 'Well, there is a problem. The check I sent was already cashed.' Here came the scam. He started implying that I cashed the check and was trying to scam HIM.
I told him I would assist in the investigation by signing an affidavit of fraud, testifying to police, etc. Nothing. No response. Now, calls and email went un-returned. Then came the letter from his 'attorney'.
Just so you know, his attorney is himself. He sent me a letter from his attorney that was so poorly written it actually made me laugh. He routinely uses this fake name for such occasions. His lawyer didn't provide an address, phone number, law firm name, or any other way to contact him. So, if you get a letter from 'Marc Shapiro', don't be too concerned.
This guy is pure sleaze. Again, I will do anything I can, to help burn this guy. I still have a file on him with all his fabricated lies.
I hope he threatens to sue me, like he did you guys because I would LOVE to face him, either in a court room, or in the ally. There is nothing more pathetic than a coward

Mr. Davad doesn't even lie very well. The supposed bride who wrote to complain about me, and my company wasn't even accurate. First of all, I wasn't hired at the 'last minute' as Mr. Davad contends; he contacted me many weeks before the event. He knew EXACTLY what equipment I had (including lights), and what I didn't have. If I didn't have the equipment he required for HIS clients, he shouldn't have hired me, but that wasn't the case. I did have ALL the equipment I needed. As a matter of fact, my company uses professional equipment, while his was using consumer equipment. I used 3-chip digital cameras, while he was using consumer level, 8mm. His 'client' contends that he needed to 're-edit' the wedding video. I never edited the video in the first place. I only shot the video. I will put my wedding work up against anyones; especially Mr. Davad. As you can see, he no longer does business in Illinois. It is possible that Mr. Davad told Angelica that I did do the wedding edit to cover his own problems, but I'm guessing that this is simply another alias. If anyone has specifically NOT contacted me, or hired me as a direct result of Mr. Davad's comments, please contact me, as that constitutes libel. I suggest, Mr. Davad, you retract your comments.

Jeff was a kid I hired at the last minute to do a wedding for me. He showed up unprepared -no lights for the reception, did a bad job -did not know how to shoot a wedding properly, and worst of all, the only other person there that day I thought I could trust was Sam. And he was busy guzzling vodka tonics from the free bar provided by my client which started directly after the short ceremony. That day was a disaster and I felt so bad for Angie and her husband and their respective families. But I made it up to her, fixed things and was able to make a great video for her. She also received a full refund. Jeff Blankenship of Lodi Wisconsin and his company Complete Video did not deserve the money I gave him, but his actions on this website and others proves his shallow angry hateful demeanor. Hopefully grown up by now and doing better work for the good people of Lodi. He ruined the video I hired him to do but that was a while ago. People learn hopefully. His report on this site is an unfortunate but obvious indicator of his personality but he was yhoung, so perhaps he has grown up a bit. Here's hoping. I wont bother to explain the entire situation, but Jeff Blankenship did our wedding and did a horrid job. Matrimovie Digital Weddings fixed what Jeff Blankenship did to our wedding video and did a wonderful job of re-editing our wedding. If it wasn't for Dave David and Matrimovie, we would have been lost. Jeff Blankenship should be put in jail for what he did to us. Angelica
