Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

David Burke retained our firm to provide marketing services for his insurance agency which is located in Centersville, GA. As you can see in the email history below, he had a clearn interaction and orders to my staff along making changes above and beyond what we normally accomodate and further promised a payment stating "I authorized a check that went in Friday’s mail" however after several more emails and phone calls, we never received a check or a reply. I futher sent a certified letter to the President of Partners Beneift group, the Agency he is now affiliated with and I received no reply. In my experience over the years, people who treat one person like this treat other people the same way, no matter what the relatoinship is. Please reivew the email history below and perhaps contact Mr. Burke if you would like this side of the story.

Thank you.  I did’nt see a place to log on but I authorized a check that went in Friday’s mail.

David,

Here it is with the corrected logos. If you will login and pay your invoice, or give me a call with your credit card payment, I’ll get you your final non-watermarked PDF.

Thanks for taking care of this in a timely manner,

Hello David,

I’m happy to switch it out for you. Do you have a larger version of the PBG logo you could send me?

Sincerely,

(Name Removed),

The BVIG logo doesn’t look right (the green and blue one).  Maybe we should use the PBG logo in it’s place (see below).

(Name Removed),

I’ve attached our company logo but it must say “A Partners Benefit Group” underneath Burke Vaughan Insurance Group.

Is this something you can help me with or should I contact the creator of the logo?

The website should be www.partnersbenefit.com.

Hello David,

I wanted to reach out to you one last time. I’m agreeable to the solution you have proposed below, and I’m happy to get the date on this PDF updated and get you your final product, just as soon as I have received payment.

I do need to get this finalized this week however, so I appreciate your response on how you would like to procced.

Sincerely,

Hello David,

I’ve attached the proof again, for your review. It DOES have a date on it of August 2016, but I’d be happy to change that, as well as any other information that may be out of date (such as logo or contact information) that that the final PDF will still be of use to you.

If that is a satisfactory solution to you, please give me a call with payment, as well as any changes that you need made and I’ll send you over the completed PDF.

Wishing you the best,

(Name Removed),

Thank you for your kind and considerate response. It’s disconcerting (name removed) decided to make threats of legal action and small claims court without once looking into the details.

If we had received the invoice prior to the work, as you stated below,  this situation would have resolved itself.

Even though $125 is an insignificant amount we now find ourselves in a position of paying for a service for which we did not use.

Is there an expiration date on the document you produced?

One possible solution is to distribute the document as planned, provided the final draft is indeed approved and I’m not violating any competitive agreements with our new vendors.  In which case I would be happy to pay for the service, minus late fees of course.

I’m confident I’ve been in business much longer than both you and (name removed) and I’ve always found it much more productive to find solutions for customers than to make threats.  I think you will find my approach is also much more profitable.

I’m leaving the office on other business the remainder of the day.  Let me know if the above solution is acceptable.  In the meantime I’ll discuss the matter with my partner and we can reconnect early next week.

Take Care.

David

David,

I’m sorry you were unable to reach my boss, (name removed), but I’m happy to assist you with this outstanding payment.

I’m glad you found a solution that works for you, however we still need payment for this newsletter, which we paid our staff to create for you, per your order. As a new customer, I should have collected payment from you up front, which was my mistake, but does not change the fact that you ordered a product from us, we paid our staff to create it, and then once it was created and approved (you approved the final on line on August 4th) you chose not to pay.

If you submit a full payment, I’ll be happy to get the date changed to a more current date and send over the PDF.

Please let me know how you would like to proceed.

Sincerely,

(Name Removed),

I received a rather rude email from a man by the name of Joe who did not leave a return number or an extension.

After you and I spoke about this newsletter I joined a group who uses Zywave for which immediately had an abundance of newsletter.

I didn’t approve the final draft so I figured the transaction was terminated and never used the newsletter.

This invoice was sent to (email removed) an email I rarely use since the merger.

Please pass this information along to Joe who incidentally also used this email.

Thank you.

Dave
