I saw an article on the internet about how a single mom discovers teeth whitening for real cheap by combining two products from Premium white. It gave a link and a promotion code that lowers the shipping & handling (about $1.95 with the promo code). I go to the site, enter my address , phone number and email address and it clearly states $1.95 for s/h. When I enter my credit card info and click on submit, I get a bill for $11.90 for a 14 day trial. I call the customer service immediately and after waiting for 5mins, I speak to a rep called 'Albert'. He says there is no refund of s/h though they have not shipped the product. However, he kindly explains that I can return the product within 14 days of receipt and I wont be charged the $87. However, I have to bear costs for shipping/handling. I ask to speak to his manager and he says 'managers dont take calls.' I ask him for an email address to send my complaint and he says there is none. He does give me a mailing address and cancels my 'membership'. Also, he tells me I should have read the terms and conditions, which you cant see unless you scroll all the way down a longggggggggggggg page.

This is such a scam.. They position everything on the website so that a customer doesn't notice any additional charge.. I have done a lot of online purchasing using reputable companies like Sears, Bay and even ebay and I have not been scammed like this before.

If I had not called the customer service rep, I would not have been told about the $87 charge on the product.

I have worked in customer service and I have never seen a case where a manager wont take a call.

I called my credit card company and explained how I got scammed. They told me to call back in 4 business days as the payment will have gone through by then. They will then deal with this through dispute resolution.
