I have an AOL email account that I use for junk mail and advertised on my home page was the ad for Dazzle White and Bright Smile. The ad says that Cathy discovered a way to whiten teeth without breaking the bank. My daughter and I had started whitening our teeth up until I lost my job; therefore, the ad was appealing since my daughter wanted whiter teeth for the homecoming dance. We had used opalescence from the dentist, but it can be pricy. I clicked on both ads for Dazzle White and Bright Smile and ordered both samples at $.99 and $1.99 each. Visas fraud department called me to verify the transactions and I authorized both prices. Dazzle White called me four days in a row to tell me they were sending trays, etc. so I could use the product. They also said they wanted to continue sending me whitening gel for a nominal fee. I explained that I had trays from the dentist and since I am not currently employed, I do not want any future products since I have a limited income. On Saturday morning, Visas fraud department called me to tell me that Jun Pure Cleanse charged $79.99 (possibly Bright Smile or Bright White) on my credit card and Dazzle White charged $6.99 during the night. They said they would be recurring charges; therefore, they cancelled my card and are reissuing a new one within two weeks. I called both companies who explained that they automatically enrolled people who order the samples into programs for various products. Jun Pure Cleanse is a colon cleaner-what does the colon cleaner have to do with whiter teeth? I could not get a straight answer from either company as to whether or not there will be anymore charges. Dazzle Whites employee, Bobby-ID #141098 (floor supervisor), said Dazzle White has no managers, or any one to talk to for complaints. And he has a job as a floor supervisor. After Bright White said they would cancel the charges to my credit card and never send me any more products, I received an email from them this morning that gave me instructions on how to cancel my account. This is beginning to look like a nightmare.
