Ever since I was a child (back in the 80's), I have been a fan of the children's television show "Jem and The Holograms". It's incredibly difficult to find all of the episodes being sold on-line so when I came across www.tvdvdplanet.com and saw that they were offering all 65 episodes, I was thrilled.

My mother decided to purchase this item for me as a Christmas gift and I obtained the DVD's last week.

First of all, they took several weeks to get here. Secondly, when I tried to play the second DVD, it said "bad disc" and would not play in either of my DVD players or in my computer!

So this left me quite suspicious. I then proceeded to review every DVD in the set and counted only 45 episodes when there are supposed to be 65!!! I counted 26 episodes on the first 5 DVD's, 7 episodes on the 5th DVD, 7 episodes on the 6th DVD, and 5 episodes on the 7th and final DVD! This only equals 45 freakin episodes!

These people are scam artists to the 10th degree!

I tried calling their "customer service number" 1-877-7-tv-show and kept getting the message that "this number is temporarily unavailable" and was advised by the recording to "try again in a couple of hours." What kind of bogus sham is THAT?

So I went to their website and spoke to "Marie" via live chat. She claimed there was "a problem" with the phone lines, but they are "working on it"" Yeah right lady. Tell me another one.

Anyway, she claims they are going to replace my entire set but I'll believe it when I see it. They have no working number, I can't find anything about this "company" on google, and it appears they are running a complete scam to take people's money and not deliver what they promise. My mother paid $90 for this BS! I made it quite clear to "Marie" that this does not appear to be a credible company and before I sent ANYTHING back to these bastards, I want my full set of 65 Jem episodes.

She claims they will send the replacement set and I can send my current set back after I receive them.

We'll see.

I won't hold my breath but if this company upholds their agreement, I will come back and update my ripofff report to sing their praises.

Otherwise they're on the s**t list and I would NOT advise anyone to send your hard earned cash there at the present time.
