Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I called Dish Network in November and asked for the games to be removed from my bill. The kids no longer played them. In February I noticed that the games were still being billed to my account. I called again and they said that not only would they remove the games, but they would credit my account for the time since I first requested they be removed. I received my bill today (3/1/08) and the games were still on it. I called, and after a lengthy wait spoke to a supervisor. She said that there was no record of my first call, and basically that I was lying about it and that even if I had called that I would still not be credited for their mistake.

After approximately 20 minutes of trying to explain common sense and business ethics to this ignorant individual, I told her that I would need to switch companies. She of course reminded me of the $250 cancellation fee. Now, they have not held up their end of the contract. I think that I should be able to charge them a $250 breach of contract fee. I know that this will never happen, but that is what is wrong with this world today. The little guys get walked on and the big guys are fully capable of robbing you --LEGALLY.

My total dissatisfaction with this company cannot be expressed in words. This can only be described as mob mentality or a form of bullying. Robbery. Nothing less. If you don't mind giving your money to somebody and recieving something that you have no use for, definately go with this company. For the most part, everything that they advertise is bait and switch or total misrepresentation. Refer somebody and they'll give you $50 off of your bill. Yes they will. $5 a month over ten months. $100 rebate for new customers. Yes. $10 a month over 10 months, if you can print a copy of the rebate form off the website, fill it out with no mistakes, get it to the department that it is supposed to be delivered to and not have somebody lose it enroute, have somebody there actually process it, wait 6-8 weeks for it to go into effect, if it ever does, and then call once a month to remind them, because if not, good luck. If this company goes out of business, I'm going to throw a party for all of the people I know who have been screwed by this company and use the $250 cancellation fee that they think they are getting to finance it.
