Hugh W. if you let a car dealer's F&I department sell you an extended warranty make no mistake that they, the dealer's F&I department will always stack a heavy profit on top of what they pay for whatever they sell you. Hugh Wardlaw I also would like you to check out the following web sites and after you visit all of them ask yourself ONE QUESTION, "What do these web sites do for car dealers?" Here is the list, Go to them ALL, OK? www.probac.com www.nationalautotraining.com www.appliedconcepts.net www.grantcardone.com www.davidlewis.com www.jeffsacksandassociates.com www.stukertraining.com www.paulcummings.com www.nationalautotraining.com www.tewart.com www.joeverde.com www.biggross.com After you check out the above web sites, I ask you to post an update as to what you think these web sites do for car dealers. Hugh most of the dirt about car dealers will never be told to consumers by your local newspaper or your local TV station. They both get most of their income from car dealers. If you want to read up on current car dealer scams, always come to the best web site. www.ripoffreport.com Both, Car dealers and car makers hate this web site because this is were their deception is revealed to EVERYBODY and they, the auto industry can't stop their deception from being exposed. Never be too fast to trust any car salesman. they are out to bend you over before you think of going down to the dealer down the street.

Buying an extended warranty from a dealer is NOT buying an extended warranty from the manufacturer. It is more like buying a medical insurance policy. You don't get to choose your doctor other than the ones on their list. The purpose of this is to control the cost to "repair" you. Same thing with a car or truck. Odds are, as with most people, you were happy to have the deal done and ready to leave in your new vehicle. All those contracts to read, and you've allready been at the dealership for a couple of hours, it didn't seem important at the time to "completely" read the contracts did it? Before buying a car, boat, house, or anything that may be equal or greater in value to your annual income; please research the industry first. Then, research the local businesses in that industry before you start negotiating.
