Don Ryan Construction the worst homebuilding experience in birmingham alabama... what a joke Birmingham Alabama
We hired Don Ryan to build our Birmingham AL house in February 2007. If you are thinking about hiring this guy to build your dream home I would strongly discourage it. After a target move in date for mid November, this was pushed to late December 2007. We were expecting a baby in late January but pushing Don to finish did not seem to work.
Instead of working hard to finish our house, he continoulsy went on long vacations (sometimes 2/month). We moved in on January 25th (2 days after our baby was born). We had no choice but to move in even though our house was not completed. Don was paid in full but did not complete our house. There is still sheetrock, paint, hardware, water leaks, electrical problems, trim work etc that were left unfinished.
We are currently trying to save money to get our house repaired from negligent contstruction, and to complete the unfinished work. Don Ryan Construction will scam you. Hiring Don will be the worst experience of your life. There are plenty or worthy home builders willing to build AND FINISH your home....don't make the same mistake I did.
