I worked for the kirby company....and although i never got rich....i went through the same exact process...and my very first demo was a sale.....but it was bad credit...and i was only like 18 at the time...do you think i quit....no....in fact i went another 3 weeks without any sale... do you think i quit then...no...in fact all of a sudden after not selling a single good deal for 3 weeks....i just popped and sold 12 out of the next 13 demos and made $5500 in just two weeks.... and i went on to make many thousands more with kirby..... now i didnt get where i wanted to with kirby....but that was just because of me....not the kirby co.... see people look for external reasons for their own failures.... so lets stop kidding ourselves....carl dooley only had you do the same exact things he probably did when he first started.... and its a shame too...cuz the skills on learned in kirby are helping to make as much as $10,000 some weeks now.....in personal sales.... and you would have learned those same skills...if you had just been a little more persistent and willing to follow instruction.... its like the military say.... which i dont care for.....but when you get there..you think youre gonna be told the truth about everything...? NO because if they told exactly what was involved, youd probly give up before you started, because you dont have confidence....youre timid... now another thing....is although there are privacy laws.....carl was probably showing you the credit report ONLY with one intention....to show you that we was not just making it up...unfortunately you probably have no idea what constitutes a good credit score...... another thing is that your step dad probably actually filled out and signed a credit application.... i mean he had to put his social security number there....otherwise carl wouldnt be able to pull his file.... see the sad thing is carl was really just trying to help....but then he saw you were weak and whiney and said forget all that....just leave....cuz you simply sounded sooo naive.... now maybe he bent the rules alittle showing the file...but like i said....he was just showing you proof of why youre only getting paid $50... ...the reason why is because when the credit score is less than good enough....the finance company may still buy the paper contract from him, but they may not pay him the fulll sale amount its called a tier....if that makes sense...now fact is carl probably only took the deal so he could pay you the $50 and help you and your dad out.... care might have made like $100 if that..because the finance company probably only paid him like $500 as opposed to the $1800 sale price..... so learn business a little before you come here with all this naive accusations....carls been in biz a long time....he aint just giving private info to anyone...hes just trying to be honest with you... and like i said...most distributors would only take that "C" paperwork....bad credit just to boost sales volume for contest and what not....otherwise he probably didnt even care to do the deal....in fact he might not even made anything on it... and as for you being sold....lol well lets see.....everything you buy was sold to you...and most of its probably junk....like has mcdonalds ever sold you one of their disgusting burgers...and you fell for it even though it going to contribute heavily to the clogging of your arteries.... did exxon ever sell you some gasoline.. has an employer ever sold you on working for less than say $1000 a week....??? let me guess...on all those things..you sold yourself right.....?? those are scams... mr dooley was just getting ready to teach you how to be independent.... but hey whatever you want out of life...
