A certain Thomas Wright representing E-Commerce Advertising contacted me on Sept. 30, 2008 to promote and send traffic to my e-store ricoandkungstuffunlimited.com... I signed up for their starter package: 833 "demographically viable shoppers"/visitors a day for $950 a year. I disclosed my credit/debit card # and routing # and account # (stupid me) on the phone...I gave them a check # but they used a different check #9999, which I did not authorized. The funds were taken and SMC, my supplier, called me and warned me of bogus web ad agencies.

National Marketers LLC (((phone number redacted))) also called me saying that E-Commerce Advertising stole their scripted market strategy, word for word...E-Commerce sent me a link to check for progress on my site (http://www.mystatscenter.com) and to date (Dec 20, 2008) their report site states that I should already have 2,313 visitors on my e-store, which is obviouly a load of crock since I had installed a site meter on my webstore and to date I only have no more than 113 visits and most of it are just myself logging in a few times...Got really worried so I changed my bank account # a few days after Mr. Wright (if that's even a real person) contacted me...

I had called E-Commerce Advertising on several occasions to get a refund but to no avail...their phone just keeps on ringin'...before I paid them I got customer service, after they took my $950 I get nothing but busy signal...emailed them too but they emailed me back to promise to call back but never did...I tried to resolve this issue with my bank but they turned me down saying it's between me and the merchant...Even Better Business Bureau to which I filed a report on Oct 13, 2008 couldn't help me...

E-Commerce was cunning enough to respond that I had authorize the payment...THE FACT IS THAT THAT'S NOT THE REAL ISSUE...THE ISSUE IS THAT THEIR PROMISED SERVICES WAS NOT DELIVERED...Ergo, I had full and justifiable reason to suspect that they are A FRAUDULENT COMPANY! I did not want to hire a lawyer for I am really strapped for cash these days, most of the money I saved went to getting my e-commerce website off the ground and it's really disheartening that companies like E-COMMERCE ADVERTISING preys on people like me who only wants to earn a little money selling stuff online...

To this day I have not had any business on my site because I am afraid to call anybody to promote my site for I am afraid of getting ripped off again...I hope somebody out there can help me at least contact these people and get my money back...$950 is a lot of money for me especially that times are hard...I do not exclude myself from the blame here, I should've researched this matter before I jumped into disclosing my bank account on the phone! Pretty stupid, eh? SERVES ME RIGHT I SUPPOSE!
