Eastern Lettering Did NOT use the material advertized and misspelled the Name... obvious Raleigh, North Carolina
I ordered Pro Football Stitched Nameplates for 7 jerseys that took an extended amount of time to do. Not that it was difficult, but that I got no confirmation of shipping. Eventually I did get it, only to say that it was shipped USPS 2nd Day Air... a week passed and no namestrips. I called and got a cell phone recording and left a message. In the meantime, I just so happened to stumble on a few websites, such as this one that was FULL of complaints about EASTERN LETTERING. After reading about 18 complaints, I was ready to expect never to see my order. I did try several times to call but again, no answer. Then EUREKA!! Someone answered and gave me a tracking number. I waited and today, 26Jan13 I received my order. So I immediately opened the shipment to inspect. Not surprised, I see what I was afraid of. They got all of MY name spelled correctly with the right size lettering and colors but they sewed it on the SAME MATERIAL THE letters and numbers are made of ..NOT the nameplate material that's used to sew on the letters. On my other order, that was shipped inside and along with this order, the missspelled the name AND used the wrong material to sew the letters on. After reading all of the horror stories about this company, I have decided to eat this bullet and use the letters and send to a LEGIT company to use on the RIGHT material. I think I may go into this business, because I'm not that much of an idiot to get the simple crap wrong and put out great work and services without lying stealing. OH, they all so opened up another company with a new name since EASTERN LETTERING is getting hammered with bad reports... BEWARE: PROPATCHES USA is their other rippoff company. The same voice is used when calling and leaving a message... the same town and strikingly similar website... DONT DO IT
