Economy Carpet House ripoff Carpet laid against the grain, numerous buckles and black areas in carpet. Stairs are not repairable according to his employees. Winchester Virginia
We contacted Economy Carpet to lay carpet in our home, 2 years ago. Ongoing problems since. He said he would cut us a deal. (We had planned on using Home Depot). He did lay the carpet for a good price.
The carpet has buckled and bulged in numerous places. Blackened area along walls. The stairs are loose and buckled. He's employees came out to say they would restretch the carpet for 250.00.we agreed and they had stated that the stairs were not repairable. We never saw his employees again, they never came back to stretch the carpet
We have filed a complaint with the BBB. But, too no attempt on their part, to resolve issue. We are now in process of having our carpet relayed by a reputable carpet company in town.
