In my opinion, this trading method is not consistently profitable and no way near the 80% success ratio that's advertised on the homepage. There is absolutely no data to prove this grossly overstated claim. If there is, I haven't seen it and if you ask for it, you'll get a wishy-washy answer.

The testimonials were written by old members of Trading Zoo. "Sam," whose real name is Edan Aharony, a registered CTA with the NFA, took the liberty without permission to change the words in those testimonials from "Trading Zoo" to "Edge Traders" and his name from "MP" to "Sam Baum." This is a violation of CFTC rules and regulations. As people learn about this and complain, he takes down their testimonial.

The trading setups are exactly the same as Trading Zoo. There are no differences except for their names. Zooline is now Edgeline; Zoomap is now Edgemap and so on. It's the same old wine in a brand new bottle. Fancy names for head and shoulders, double tops/bottoms, double pipes and so on. Unfortunately, the setups don't work consistently enough to make a good profit, let alone a living to replace a real job. Unfortunately, it took me a year and a lot of lost money to find this out. When I tried to explain to Edan that I was trading the setups exactly as he taught them, he riduculed me in the room and said, the reason I wasn't successful was "I didn't think like him." Well, he didn't teach us how to think like him and the idea that anyone can think like a total stranger on the Internet is an insult to one's intelligence, but I guess it's as good an excuse anything to coverup the facts the setups are weak, old and available for a lot less money in a number of books on charts patterns and technical analysis.

Don't be swayed by the psuedo psychological pep talks Edan has on his site and gives in the free trial. It's all Tony Robbins infomercial type BS. And don't believe the hype and lies. This method uses multiple timeframes and a few indicators, both of which Edan sells to further line his pockets.

Save yourself the $6300 and buy a few books on chart patterns for $50 instead. You'll learn the same things with a lot less heartache.

What is our marketing tactics? you come to our room as a guest for a week sometimes 2. If you like what you see with your own eyes you can join, no one sells you anything unless you can see it for yourself. No one holds a gun against your head and force you to join. I put my dom for the world to see you can verify the trades as you see them. You have a hidden agenda. Otherwise no one would spend so much time and effort doing what you are doing, and please spare us the claim that you are doing it for the benefit of the public other wise you would have said your peace already.

You can't stop lies but you can explain your side of the story

I'm sorry you feel that way traderj or as you call yourself in other places CaveatEmptor or any other name for that matter because all it takes to change your name is a valid email account, but you are misleading and not saying the truth, in fact you are liying. you weren't a room member for over a year but only for 3 weeks. In fact you have joined us September 20th 2008 and quieted after you needed the money back with in exactly 3 weeks of the time you've joined us. In the contract you've signed it states clearly that you need to give me at least 60 hours to train you on the setups, but you didn't spend half as much, instead you wanted your money back, even though, you did you're due diligence prior to joining us for 2 weeks. No one held a gun to your head and forced you to trade, even if I make claims, which are according to you are false, you still have to confirm it for yourself before you join us... after all no one will join a program based on the claims I make alone... you had 2 trials in our room before you decided to join. Regarding the testimonials I do disclose that these are testimonials I received in my prior endeavor and I carried them with me to my new one, and if someone doesn't like it I remove it ASAP, but I did ask for consent to post them after all the testimonials were written to me personally so what is the difference where they are presented. Regarding the name Sam Baum I carry this name with me for a long time, in fact for over 10 years, and the NFA knows I use this name it's not like I change my name everywhere I go to hide behind my name and to con people, this name was mine during my previous endeavor and I still carry it to my new endeavor... should I wanted to deceive anyone I would have changed my name all together to something completely different, but I keep it because this name carries value for me just like Madonna uses her's or anyone with a different name it's called allies and it's perfectly legal. Now what happened with this member is simple; trading is a mental game... the knowledge I pass, or anyone else for that matter, eventually is only a tool and if you don't understand how to use this tool, it becomes worthless... that is why after I teach how to trade, (and by the way the things I teach are proprietary and you can't find them anywhere else unlike Trader J is claiming or as he calls himself somewhere else 'CaveatEmptor') I concentrate on the mental aspect because you'll never master trading without being mentally strong. So going back to my point, any trader joining us for a short period of time will have a hard time mastering our program. In fact it would be impossible! that is why I don't just run seminars because it's a loss cause, no one will be able to master a profession by taking a weekend seminar or a 1 week booth camp. Trading is the most lucrative business in the world and I think the best business in the world, no bosses, no partners, no employees, no inventories, and working on your own terms so if it is the best business in the world what makes anyone think they can master it in 3 weeks, and I dare you over here to prove me otherwise TraderJ, or even a year but the good news is that if you find the righrt envoirment you can develop and master this business. Is trading for everyone? Of course not, some people are just not comfertable with the fact they have to take risks each time they put on a trade, but that is something everyone has to deal with on a personal level, I can't teach how to get comfortable with taking risks, what I CAN teach is how to embrace risk once you've decided that you are going to face risk each time you are about to put on a trade... and this is where the psycologiacal aspect of trading keecks in. And I'm blamed for talking and teaching the psycological aspect of trading more so that my own system, and I can explain. After all, a system is a system, and like a said, it's only a tool. Once you learn the system trading becomes 100% mental its totally a mental game! that is why I concentrate on the mental aspect of trading so much... you can learn any system in 2 weeks but that doesn't mean you'll be able to use it, because as you know, the best system in the world will fale you from time to time. To expect a trade signal to work without losing on it from time to time is like to expect beinig a quarter back in the national football league and not trowing an interception for the whole entire season, now I know you understand that concept and you know any given trade, or system for that matter, can fail you, but I want to tell you that deep down inside of you you didn't come to terms with that concept, because if you take a trade what happens if you get stopped out? will you doubt the same trade the next time it presents it self? now be honest...Maybe you won't doubt it the next time but what happens if you got stopped out again on the next trade? Now for sure you'll think twice before you'll take the next trade! and you just ruined your Edge! You see an edge is a favorable outcome but not certain... if you have an edge that works 70% of the time means you have a great system, but pay attention, 70% edge means you'll be right 7 out of 10 trails. Probabilities exist but there is no preset sequence... meaning we don't know when the 7 winning trades will come about, or in what sequence, as far as we can tell you can have 3 loosing trades in a row just to follow by 7 winning trades in a row, so the thing I'm trying to say is that for you to be a master trader you have to understand that each and every trade has it's own outcome... but as part of a larger point of view they have a certain outcome that is an Edge. That my friend is not easy for the average person to undersatn and it takes time to recondition you brain to think in those terms and to truly believe in those terms because as you know your beliefs will make you take actions that are in line with what you believe...and that is exactly why I pay so much attention on the mental aspect of trading. I just scratched the surface with the mental work there is much more to that than what I just explain like for instance disciplne and setting up the rules to keep you from inflicting a lot of pain on yourself in an environment that basically has no rules and so on. But that is why TraderJ is so bitter at me and now goes and try to ruin my name and reputation for not giving him his money back but you can't give in to extortion and I have the emails to prove it if you want you can contact me at 732-410-9508 and I'll be happy to speak to anyone. And I assume he can register again under a different name and claim to be somone else... and that's fine, the cycle can go on and on... unfortunately, you can't put a stop to it, I just wanted to put my side of the story and you be the judge. God bless you, Sam Baum ;).
