The information provided in this report below is based on comments made by Effective Immediately PR during an onsite inspection held by a third party verification company with no biases towards Ellen Soliz.

Effective Immediately PR is a public relations company that work with independent artists and developing artists in the music industry. They have been in business for several years and are making several brand and management changes to ensure customer satisfaction. President Ellen Soliz stated the following about her company, "we are really excited because we have this amazing team of people that are, can work all genres of music which sort of separates us but that’s pretty much what we do. We go out there and get premiers for songs, track premieres, interviews, and in some cases, session work."

Leads for Effective Immediately PR are primarily obtained by artists who seek them out. The sales process begins when an artist submits music on their website. Effective Immediately PR will then submit a questionnaire to the artist to better access their needs. From that point, the questionnaire, "goes to the marketing department and there’s a bunch of people, three people actually that will parcel out if they are a good fit for us and then they explain the different price points that we offer. Currently, there are three but that may change only because the music industry is constantly changing itself. So they explain the price points and the length of the campaigns and what we feel we can deliver. Then they sign on with us, and they sign a contract to work with us for a period of time whether it be three months, four months, six months, or a year."

CUSTOMER CARE & COMPLAINT RESOLUTION – EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY PR

During the on-site interview, Ms. Soliz was asked to describe a situation where a client was not satisfied with the level of service they received. Ms. Soliz expressed the following, "but I really don’t have an example since I’ve been here. Everyone’s been happy at this moment." She did proceed to give an example of a past complaint in the category of management expectations. Some artists come in with a very small following and expect to immediately be given a set on Jimmy Fallon. Ms. Soliz explained that they have to educate their artists on what they need in order to get the big publicity positions. This can often lead to complaints if the artist is not willing to do the work.

When asked to comment on complaints posted on Ripoff Report's website Ms. Soliz expressed that while their complaint percentage is very low a client did reach out to complain about their services. Ms. Soliz stated the following, "my feeling about that too is that I really believe that if someone is unhappy with the service they have been given they should that business the opportunity to have that conversation. I think in the music Industry there are always people that way to say bad things about other people. So I’m not saying that person felt they didn’t have a valid opinion, but all I’m saying is that I don’t know their methods were good for them in the end that it would have been better for them to have addressed directly with us and we probably would have come to a great resolution." In order to further assure future and current clients Effective Immediately PR are members of the Public Relations Society of America.

When asked what type of changes they have made to honor their commitment to making things right with the consumer per the request of Ripoff Report, Ms. Soliz stated, "as internally we always take complaints seriously. At the end of campaigns we are constantly talking to people about their experience we just had someone write this beautiful note to one of our publicists thanking her for all of the efforts she made, and sometimes people say I think this should be better or that should be better. We always do an exit interview at the end of campaigns. Because we want to hear the good, the bad, the ugly, mostly good but we want to hear it all because that’s how we get better at what we do."

My band was contacted by Effective Immediately PR agents who gushed how much they liked our music and we agreed to give them a try to do a press campaign for our next release. They talked extensively about a band I was familiar with who they claimed to have done great things for. A couple of thousand $ later, they handled our campaign and got NOT ONE press write-up, blurb, premiere, NOTHING. That is practically impossible to do - you can even email a music blog yourself and get some results. I then got in touch with the band they had claimed to have helped so much.... they told me that EIPR has not done anything for them. It was all lies. PR is a shady business to be sure, but this company is really the pits.
