1. The online ad Ellen initially posted (Hoobly) indicated the Boxer puppies came with a vet check. When I asked for the vet check, they admitted the puppies had never been to the vet. They also indicated their older dogs (i.e. 2 year old French Bulldog) doesn't go to the vet and they do not regularly vaccinate their dogs (they do their own vaccinations).
2. When I was picking up the Boxer puppy, they knew my vet appt was 6 days later due to Christmas time. They said if anything was wrong w/ the puppy to contact them (which I have a recording of). Later I received an email they wouldn't guarantee the puppy because vet appt was more than 2 days out.
3. While picking up the Boxer puppy, I was not allowed to go inside her house and had to stay outside. I could hear several adult dogs and puppies in the backyard and in her house. her backyard is very small and so is her house for that many dogs.
4. After having the puppy for 26 hours, I was at emergency vet care clinic. The puppy was severely dehydrated, low blood sugar due to poor nutrition & had parasites. These conditions didn't happen within 26 hours (which the breeder is indicating) & this occurred while in the breeders home. This was verified by the vet as it's been going on for a while to get this bad.
5. The breeder posted the Boxer puppy for $1,200 on Puppyfinder.com. She then decided to charge me $1,350 due to spending too much time emailing me & I had cost her money she needed to recoup. Since I pointed this out to her, she has deleted the posting but I have copies of them for reference.
6. After researching further, I have found other instances of similar situations. This breeder has used different names & previously went by Elizar Boxers, then changed it to LaJeunesse European Boxers, & now C'est La Vie. She also uses ID's: lzrbxrs174, elizar, and frnchlv5867.
7. On a side note, I was originally going to adopt the two year old French Bulldog male she has posted. In her Hoobly ad, the price was $1,350 and indicated she "may" want to retain breeding rights but it could be discussed This is FALSE. She will only sell you the dog for that price if you give her breeding rights still for FOUR years. Seriously, FOUR years you have to be connected to this breeder and you are unable to fix your dog so she can continue to make money breeding off of him. In order to lower the breeding time, she would charge you $1,850 to retain 9 months of breeding rights or sell him for $3,500 to have no breeding rights. Yup, three times the cost to adopt the dog even though her ad never said she wanted to retain breeding rights for that price. She has since re-posted the SAME ad (now lowered the price though) and still doesn't mention retaining breeding rights for that price.
8. Overall this breeder is extremely unprofessional and is not taking care of her puppies as they are sick, have not gone to a vet, and live in poor conditions. She is still trying to sell puppies, the French Bulldog and has more dogs that are pregnant in her house (i.e. French Bulldog named Abby).
Again, I have emails and voice recordings to back up everything I am saying and I will be happy to provide it all to you. I have also posted reviews and ads warning people. She has since deleted some of her ads.
