EMPIRE TRUCK LINES Besides paying driver the lowest miles ,Now they don't to pay even the miles Dispatched Houston Texas
After a few times that i was sent to Houston Texas with the pretext that i had a Load ready to Pu/ and go Home to Austin Texas.Most the time these loads were not ready at all, I didn't care anymore weather they had a load or not, but that meant i had to bobtail home without being paid for. But what really broke the Camel's back was when I received a Call on a Sunday Afternoon Asking me go from Austin Tx To Irving Tx to Take a Load with stop in Lubbock then to Amarillo Tx by a Dispatcher named Priscilla Ponce. I clearly explained her that I didn't have a trailer. That she should contact her Supervisor and let me know if She was still wanted me to take the load.Of course I told her that they needed to pay me empty miles either from Houston tx or Austin tx to Irving tx. About 30 minutes later she called again saying that the empty miles would be paid,So I took the Load to the first stop for Monday morning delivery,The final Drop was for Tuesday at 19:00 , Anyway, I called my assigned driver manager to ask about the empty miles,I was told that there were not empty miles then I said that i had being told that I would be paid.After lots of phone calls I was told they would pay which never happened, Two weeks later they try to pull the same stunt on me again, This time with a different Driver Manager named Gabby saying that a broke down truck needed help,I told her that since I had no way to know if they would pay me for empty miles,I declined the Load.A few days later I left them for good.
