Empirical Films I purchased DVD's of the old series "The Wonder Years". Several of the DVD's were defective - they said not to return the DVD's and they would send out a new set. I never received a new set. Internet
I purchased DVD's of the old series "The Wonder Years" from Empirical films in December 2005. Several of the DVD's were defective. I e-mailed the company - they said they would ship out a new set, and I should return the defective DVD's when I received the new set.
I never received a new set. I sent numberous e-mails - none were answered. I made several phone calls - none were returned.
The following statement appeared on their website:
"The RareDVDs staff is standing by around the clock to answer your email requests and questions. There are no questions too small especially when asking about what' s hot and what' s new. All emails will be answered promptly."
Well, apparently, they must all be asleep because not one person returned any of my query's.
What else can I do? Would the Better Business Bureau be able to help me?

The Wonder Years Boxed Set

First and foremost, I've been in the exact same situation, with the exact same boxed set. I'm a huge Wonder Years fan, and at the time, wanted every episode. My wife ordered a set from an online retailer. Well, the episodes were all pirated. I did some research. There is no LEGAL boxed set of The Wonder Years. Every copy that you see online will be pirated in some way, shape or form. You can call them out on the set being pirated, and I'm sure they'll respond promply.
