Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

I received an Email that offered two samples, one an eye cream and one a face serum, for the sum total each of $5.95 and $1.95. There was nothing else offered or implied. No hint of any automated shipping program, etc. I paid attention because I'm on a definite budget. I got the samples in the mail within a week, yet have not opened them. I noticed the boxes each had Encante Beauty Collection imprinted on them, but no street address for the company. Just a city, Santa Ana, CA. And no web address.

I do the majority of my banking online, so checked there and found not only the two debits for $5.95 and $1.95, but also a pending debit of $99.01 from pureyeyecream.org. I did some checking at both web addresses listed on my bank record, and lo and behold, each site address had a big, big box on it stating that receiving the sample was tantamount to automatic monthly product shipping and billing.  Both the eye cream site page and the anti-aging face serum site page had this box. On the second site page I saw that I was in for another erroneous monthly automatic shipment charge I never signed up for or agreed to, in the amount of $98.71. Keep in mind that the original Email to entice you provides no web address information. Like I did though, you can find out the dba names on your bank records online. When I received the sample products I thought: "Who the hell is Encante?" I only read about purey eye cream and villaire face serum.

Aside from there being nothing in the Email I received (sorry now that I deleted it as I do all that I'm done with...) about this automatic shipment business, I also happen to be on SSI. There's no way, even if someone had the fountain of youth in a jar, I'd pay almost $200 of my $700 disability out for skin products every month. This is the straw that broke the camel's back and why I'm proud to contribute my story to help others hopefully not get ripped off.
